1950 WEST - PAVING SATURDAY

Work to install the sewer pipeline is now complete along 1950 West up to 3800 South. Crews are preparing the roadway for paving which is scheduled for Saturday, November 1. Construction also continues within the old drive-in property for the new EDGEhomes project.

 

EXPECTED IMPACTS

• Streets closed to thru traffic - local traffic only.

• Single-lane traffic with temporary lights/signals or flaggers.

• Heavy construction equipment traffic in the area.

• NO street parking along 1950 West within the active construction zones.

• The contractor will maintain access to businesses, residences, and connecting roads as much as possible; however, temporary interruptions may be necessary.

• Businesses/residents nearby will likely experience some noise, dust, and vibrations.

Signs and barriers are positioned for your safety. Do not move barricades, signs, or enter taped-off areas.

Staging Area Notice

The contractor has been granted use of the previous Drive-In property for staging their construction equipment and materials; consequently, nearby residents and businesses might notice/experience increased construction traffic, noise, and bright lights in the area overnight during the nightwork construction hours.  The contractor will do all they can to minimize impacts in your area.
